The Plaza de Cánovas del Castillo, is also known as Plaza de Neptuno despite the fact that there is no such name officially on the street map of the city of Madrid, it is a large almost circular roundabout located on the edge of Madrid de los Austrias (between the neighborhood of Cortes and the district of Retiro), occupying the heart of the old Prado Hall and centered on the Fountain of Neptune since 1898.
