Juderia
“La Judería” is the Jewish quarter located in the historic center, named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1994.
The neighborhood was separated from the city by a wall, which not only kept its inhabitants away, but also protected them from Christian attacks.
The most important place in the Jewish Quarter was the Zoco. This term comes from the Arabic word suq, which means market, because it was the place where citizens gathered to shop and converse with their neighbors. You will also visit the Calleja de la Hoguera, Plaza del Cardenal Salazar, and the Maimónides sculpture.

Sinagoga
It is one of the few synagogues preserved in Spain from the 14th century. It was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in the category of Monument in 1885 and is, along with the historic center of Cordoba, a World Heritage Site.
