The Roman Theatre of Malaga is an ancient Roman theater located in the historic center of Malaga. It was built in the 1st century B.C. during the reign of Emperor Augustus and was in use until the 3rd century A.D.
The theater was accidentally discovered in 1951 during construction work and was subsequently excavated and restored. It is remarkably well-preserved and has been integrated into the archaeological ensemble Alcazaba-Gibralfaro, along with the Alcazaba fortress and Gibralfaro Castle, providing visitors with a fascinating glimpse into the Roman history of the region.

Alcazaba
The Alcazaba of Malaga is a remarkable fortress located in the heart of the city. Built in the 11th century during the Islamic rule, it showcases a blend of defensive structures with elegant gardens and courtyards. Positioned on a hill, it provides panoramic views of the city, the port, and the Mediterranean Sea.
