Gibraltar day trip from Seville

Visit Gibraltar, a British colony on Spanish territory, where the Andalusian and British environments are mixed.

Seville is the starting point for our tour to Gibraltar. Our guide will pick you up in a private vehicle at 9:00 a.m. to begin your experience connecting Spain and the United Kingdom, which is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.

We will arrive in Gibraltar’s countryside in about two hours, after passing through a big part of the province of Cádiz, with its magnificent cork oak woods and lovely white villages.

Gibraltar is a British territory, yet it is positioned in an enclave south of Spain, just 14 kilometers from Africa. It’s also known as “The Rock“, it’s home to a unique population that blends Andalusian and British cultures.

We will perform the so-called Rock Tour once we get in Gibraltar and cross the border. We’ll begin at the entrance of Gibraltar’s Natural Reserve. Our first stop will be at the Columns of Hercules overlook, where we will be treated to breathtaking views of the Strait of Gibraltar.

We’ll continue on to the San Miguel Caves, an amazing cave in the center of Gibraltar with geological structures like stalactites and stalagmites that will astound and amaze us.

Then we’ll ascend to the summit of the cliff to take in the best views from a viewpoint inaugurated in 2018 by “Star Wars” actor Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker. There, we’ll get up close and personal with Gibraltar’s famed and friendly monkeys, which are the only free monkeys on the European continent.

Following that, will have free time for lunch and to visit the city’s commercial area, which is located near the famous Main Street, where they can enjoy the many shops and bazaars that give Gibraltar its reputation as a shopping center and where, at the moment, the “hard Brexit” does not exist.

At the end of your free time, our guide will meet you at the agreed-upon location and escort you to our transportation back to Seville. We’ll arrive at 7:00 p.m., following a fantastic day of exploration.
