Guided Day Trip

We start the Tour Mallorca by train, tram and boat leaving from Palma to Inca.

After crossing the valley of Lluc by bus, we arrive at the spectacular Sa Calobra Beach and the Torrent of Pareis, where we will enjoy free time for lunch or sunbathe. Then, we will embark on the boat towards the Soller Harbour (in case of bad weather, this part will be done by coach through Puig Major).

The journey back to Palma will be done with the vintage Tram from Port of Soller to Soller city and with the vintage Train from Soller city to Palma city. This itinerary can change, depending on travel conditions.

Lunch is not included in the price. You can ask for picnic at your hotel or have lunch in one of the restaurants in the Sa Calobra beach area.

Tour Itinerary

Palma de Mallorca

Palma was founded as a Roman camp upon the remains of a Talaiotic settlement. The city was subjected to several Vandal raids during the fall of the Western Roman Empire, then reconquered by the Bizantine Empire, then colonised by the Moors (who called it Medina Mayurqa) and, in the 13th century, by James I of Aragon.

Inca

We start the tour with a visit to a famous Inca leather shop

Torrent de Pareis

Winding the narrow road to Lluc we reach the beach of Sa Calobra and the mouth of the Torrent de Pareis, which make up this imposing whim of nature. We are on a peculiar beach surrounded by great steep mountains and, in the background, the turquoise blue of the sea, a setting that conquers visitors and local people. The Torrente de Pareis, the main protagonist of this creation of nature, is the habitat of different species of animals and local vegetation that provide it with incalculable environmental value.

Sa Calobra

In Sa Calobra, we will embark on a cruise to the Port of Sóller, sailing along the north coast of the island and observing the maritime cornice of the Sierra de Tramuntana (listed as a World Heritage Site) that offers spectacular views of nature in state pure.

Puerto de Soller

The port of Soller is a historic enclave coveted in ancient times by privateers and pirates due to Mallorca’s location on the Mediterranean Sea.

The Sóller Valley offers us mixed scents of orange blossom and citrus, idyllic landscapes and a rich maritime history that we can discover on this train journey. From the port itself, we will take the emblematic wooden tram to the town of Sóller where its bustling streets and famous modernist buildings such as its Church of San Bartolomé or the old Banco de Sóller welcome us. Sóller, known as the cradle of modernism, has an extensive history among its streets and buildings. The old colonial-style stately houses and palaces tell us how in the 19th and 20th centuries, Mallorcan merchants made their fortune with the orange trade in France and how King Alfonso XIII proclaimed the town of Sóller as a city and commercial and cultural center of area.

From the center, we will start the return route with the classic train from Sóller to Palma. Its wooden wagons, pampered with care, take us with their soft rattle back in time to 1912 when it was inaugurated. The train is characterized by being a narrow gauge railway, rare today and by presenting a very varied old rolling stock, of a detailed character and artisan maintenance.

Frequently Asked Questions

The main meeting point is Camí de l'Escullera in Palma. If you're staying in southern Mallorca (Playa de Palma, El Arenal, Magaluf and nearby resort areas), we offer free hotel pickup — with over 40 pickup points on the island, your exact spot may be a designated stop just outside your hotel rather than the lobby door itself, so we always confirm it with you in advance.

The full experience runs about 8 hours, from the coach ride through the Serra de Tramuntana to the boat crossing to Port de Sóller and the vintage tram and train back. Every stage is timed by our guide so you get real time at Sa Calobra and Sóller, not just a photo stop.

Your ticket covers round-trip transport in an air-conditioned coach, the guide, and all train, tram and boat tickets for the day — nothing extra to pay on the ground for those. Lunch and drinks are not included, so you can choose to bring a picnic or eat at Sa Calobra.

Several coaches do depart from the same area in Palma, which can look busy at first, but each group travels with its own guide who manages the whole day for you — pickup, tickets and transitions between train, tram and boat. You won't be left to figure out logistics on your own.

No — your guide travels with the group for the entire route and all tickets are pre-arranged, so the transitions between coach, boat, tram and train are coordinated for you. You simply follow the group; there's no risk of being left behind at a station.

The descent has many switchbacks, so if you're prone to motion sickness we recommend taking medication beforehand and sitting toward the front of the coach. The scenery makes it worthwhile, and our drivers know the road well.

Comfortable walking shoes, a hat and sunscreen, and plenty of water are essentials. If you plan to enjoy the beach at Sa Calobra, pack swimwear and a towel too.

Yes, you'll have free time at Sa Calobra and in Sóller where self-service restaurants and cafés are available, or you can bring your own picnic. Since lunch isn't included in the price, it's entirely up to you where and what you eat.
