Ronda and White Villages day trip from Seville

Guided tour of the white villages of Zahara de la Sierra, Grazalema and Ronda.

In this excursion we will visit in one day, Ronda and the White Villages, Zahara de la Sierra, Grazalema, from Seville.

Typical Andalusian villages, so called because of the custom of their neighbors to whitewash the facades of the houses of a pristine white. These villages are located in the mountains of Ronda, and the Sierra de Grazalema.

Border land in the Middle Ages between Castile and Granada, on the way to the white villages we will find several fortresses like the Castillo de las Aguzaderas, in the municipality of El Coronil.

From here we will go to Zahara de la Sierra, a village located in the north of the province of Cadiz, in the heart of the Natural Park of the Sierra de Gazalema. Here we will stroll through its winding streets and visit an olive mill, a place where olive oil is processed, where visitors can taste and buy this product.

We will continue to Sierra de Grazalema, the rainiest place in Spain, which has, in its more than 50,000 hectares, the fir forest Pinsapar de Benamahoma.

We will continue to Grazalema, located at the highest point of the Sierra where we can enjoy the views and make a rest stop to enjoy its gastronomy.

We will make our last stop in the mythical Ronda, where we will visit La Alameda, the New Bridge, the Paseo de los Toreros and the Tajo, a gorge that divides the town into two areas connected by a bridge.
