We’ll Maria Luisa Park with an official guide who can tell you interesting facts and stories about the park and its surroundings.

If you like gardens and their stories, book the secrets of Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España tour. This park is the green lung of Seville, where you can walk through meandering paths and groves while discovering the most exciting stories of this urban oasis, which is also home to the Plaza de España.

It belongs to the private gardens of Queen María Luisa Fernanda de Borbón (1876–1954), Princess of Asturias, Duchess of Montpansier, who lived at the palace of San Telmo. She donated it to the city in 1914.

In 1929, it became a cultural interest in the category of historic garden. Walking through the park will bring you back to the time of the Iberoamerican Exhibition, which was held in 1929. It represents the embrace of the old Spanish territories.

While we walk, we will traverse María Luisa Park and learn about the impressive fountains and terracotta tiles that provide the backdrop for its gardens. We will also observe the striking Moorish-style pavilions.

Our official guide will explain the natural and architectural meaning of different spaces near the palace gardens, and will also take you to see “secret” places not visible to passers-by.
