Guided Day Trip

Traditional markets are an exceptional way to get to know the island and the traditions of each village and the Mallorcan character. They are the perfect place to buy food products or handicrafts typical of the island. Depending on the day of the week you choose for the getaway, there will be a stop at the Sineu market (Wednesday) or a stop at the Pollença market (Sundays).
We will take a boat to do a little tour of the wonderful bay of Pollensa and Alcudia, where we can enjoy exceptional panoramic views of the north of Mallorca from the sea .
The exuberant beauty of Cape Formentor is shaped by the winds and erosion of the sea that shape the varied and rugged coastline of this cape day by day. At some points, the cliffs reach 300 meters in height and the views from these points of the road make this area one of the most extraordinary places in Mallorca.
Formentor beach is the ideal setting to rest, take a refreshing swim in its crystal clear waters.

Tour Itinerary

Palma de Mallorca

Our Tour begins in Camí de la Escollera in front of the Cathedral of Palma at around 09:30 hrs. Palma was founded as a Roman camp upon the remains of a Talaiotic settlement. The city was subjected to several Vandal raids during the fall of the Western Roman Empire, then reconquered by the Bizantine Empire, then colonised by the Moors (who called it Medina Mayurqa) and, in the 13th century, by James I of Aragon.

Alcudia Market

The Alcudia Market is held every Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the center of the town, on Paseo Mare de Déu de la Victòria and its surroundings. During the summer months the market occupies a large part of the historic center of the town, being one of the largest markets in Mallorca. In it we find a large number of points of sale with a varied proposal in food, textile and artisan products.

Sineu Market

One of the most famous markets on the entire island of Mallorca is undoubtedly the traditional Sineu Market, which has been held every Wednesday in this beautiful town for hundreds of years.

The Sineu market is an appointment with history, a way of meeting neighbors with their local and artisan products where we can find everything from fruits, vegetables, tools, agricultural machinery, clothing, footwear … to nothing more and nothing less than animals. It is the only market in Mallorca that can trade with live animals.

Formentor Beach

Formentor is formed by a small mainland at the northern end of the Serra de Tramuntana. It is one of the main natural attractions in Mallorca. It offers a spectacular journey, unforgettable views and beaches with crystal clear waters. Don’t forget your swimsuit! You will enjoy almost 2 hours of free time.

Pollensa Port

Discover the fisherman’s wharf and the promenade in front of the sea. The Port of Pollença is the second nucleus of the municipality of Pollença.

The main square of the Port is surrounded by pine trees and is dedicated to the musician and composer Miquel Capllonch y Rotger. An element worth seeing is the compass rose that centers the pavement of the square.

Around the square we find the parochial church, a neo-Gothic temple, dedicated to the Virgen del Carmen. If from the square we take Calle del Ecónomo Torres we will arrive at Plaça del Enginyer Roca. A little further on are the port facilities, located in what is known as the fishermen’s wharf or the old wharf. Next to the traditional fishing boats, “llaüts”, is the Lonja de Pescadores.

Formentor Cape

At Cabo de Formentor we can see steep cliffs, an exciting access road that has nothing to envy to the Carretera de Sa Calobra and a unique natural environment in which the Sierra de Tramontana meets the Mediterranean Sea.

Frequently Asked Questions

The tour departs from Palma de Mallorca, at Camí de la Escollera, right in front of Palma Cathedral, at around 09:30. We also offer free pick-up from most hotels across Mallorca — just confirm your hotel and pick-up time with us the day before, and we'll take care of the rest.

You get almost 2 hours of free time at Formentor Beach, one of the most photographed spots on the island, with crystal-clear turquoise water. It's real beach time, not a quick drive-by — pack your swimsuit.

Swimsuit and a towel for Formentor Beach, plus sunscreen, sunglasses, comfortable shoes, and water. Loungers and parasols can be rented on-site if you'd rather not carry your own beach gear.

The final stretch to the cape does follow a scenic but curvy coastal road, so if you're prone to motion sickness we'd recommend taking your usual remedy beforehand and choosing a seat near the front of our air-conditioned coach. Our guides are used to setting a comfortable pace on this section.

Depending on the day you travel, you'll visit either Sineu Market (Wednesdays) or Pollença Market (Sundays) — both classic Mallorcan markets with local produce and artisan crafts, plus a stop to see traditional leather goods in Inca.

Included: round-trip transport in a luxury air-conditioned coach, a professional guide, a boat trip through the bays of Pollença and Alcúdia, and the market and Formentor visits. Lunch, snacks, and drinks are not included, so bring some cash for the market or a quick bite along the way.

It's a full 8-hour day: pick-up in the morning, a stop at the traditional market, a scenic boat ride along the Pollença and Alcúdia coastline, the drive up to the Cap de Formentor viewpoint, and free time at Formentor Beach before heading back.

There's a free area to lay out your own towel, but if you'd prefer a sunbed and parasol, these can be rented directly on the beach for an extra fee. We mention this upfront so there are no surprises once you're there.
