Plaza de la Compañía y Santa Victoria
This is one of the most important squares of the city and its main building is the church of la Compañía or church of Santo Domingo de Silos, which nowadays holds the Provincial Historical Archive.
In the middle of the square you can find the Triunfo de San Rafael, a commemorative statue to honor the guard of Córdoba. This monument was built in the 18th century thanks to the donations of the believers.
Santa Victoria is a church located close to the square and it is a unique example of Neo-classical style of Córdoba. It dates from the late 18th century and it stands out because of its curved portico, which is held by six big columns and you can see it from the Plaza de la Compañía.

Narrow and winding, it goes up a gentle slope to the small square where it ends. The balconies are filled with flower pots that fill the pleasant stroll of the visitor with a nice smell.
